Paris metro, RER and bus delays: your line in real time
En retard, chef tells you at a glance whether your Paris metro, RER, Transilien or tram line is disrupted right now — passenger incident, signal failure, engineering works, strike, traffic regulation — with the official message from Île-de-France Mobilités. Then pick your station and see when the next train comes, in both directions, in real time. And for buses, in Paris and across the whole Île-de-France region, day and night: “📍 Near me” shows the stops around you and the next buses live.
Need to know how long your trip takes? The metro & RER journey planner gives you the duration, the changes and your arrival time. And for the big picture: every disrupted line, live.
A more specific question? “Is line 13 running?”, “Next RER B at Gare du Nord?”, “Porte d'Ivry → Jussieu in 10 min, can I make it?”: ask the AI. It answers in a few sentences, in your language, based on live traffic.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my Paris metro is delayed?
Pick your line (metro 1 to 14 or RER A to E): En retard, chef instantly shows its live status from the official Île-de-France Mobilités traffic feed — “IT'S A MESS” if the line is disrupted, with the reason and the announced end time, “ALL GOOD” otherwise.
When is the next metro at my station?
Pick your line, then your station: the next trains show up in real time in every direction (IDFM / SIRI station displays) and refresh on their own every 30 seconds. Save your station to get it in one tap, or use “Near me”.
How long does it take to get from one station to another?
Use the journey time calculator: enter where you start and where you're going to get the estimated duration, your arrival time, the lines to take and where to change. It's based on official IDFM timetables (travel times, train frequency, transfer times).
Is the Paris metro delayed right now?
It depends on the line. The “Live disruptions” page lists every metro and RER line disrupted right now, with the official message.
Can I ask an AI?
Yes: tap “Ask the AI” at the bottom of the screen and write the way you talk (“Porte d'Ivry → Jussieu in 10 min, can I make it?”). The AI answers in a few sentences, in your language, based on live traffic: delays, next trains, routes, arrival time. Free, 10 questions a day.
Is the data reliable?
It comes from Île-de-France Mobilités' official open data: live traffic info and real-time next trains (PRIM platform), and planned timetables (GTFS) for journey times. The site makes nothing up: it just makes it readable in 2 seconds.
How do I get a delay certificate for the metro?
RATP and SNCF issue delay certificates on their websites when the disruption is confirmed. Our “Delay certificate” guide explains how.
Which lines and stations are covered?
All 14 metro lines (1 to 14) and the 5 RER lines (A, B, C, D, E), every branch included, plus metro lines 3bis and 7bis, Transilien trains (lines H, J, K, L, N, P, R, U, V), trams (T1 to T14), CDGVAL, Orlyval, the C1 cable car and the Montmartre funicular (tap “More options” under the grid): 969 stations. And buses too (see below).
What about buses?
They're here too: tap “📍 Near me”, then “🚌 Buses nearby” to see the bus stops around you (within 500 m) and the real-time next buses for each line — every bus in the Paris region, every network, in Paris and the suburbs, day and night (Noctilien) — with the line's live status. Save your stop to get it in one tap, and tap “🧭 Guide me to the stop”: a compass points to it, with the distance, as you walk. The AI knows every bus as well: ask “bus 70?” and it gives you the next ones at the stop nearest to you.
Is the site free and official?
100% free, no sign-up. It's unofficial and not affiliated with RATP, SNCF or Île-de-France Mobilités; it relies only on their open data.
