Frequently asked questions
How is the journey time calculated?
From Île-de-France Mobilités' official timetables (GTFS): actual travel time between stations, daytime train frequency (to estimate the average wait) and walking transfer times inside stations. The first departure is then checked in real time whenever possible.
Does the calculation take disruptions into account?
Lines disrupted right now are flagged on your route (⚠️). If there's an incident, the trip may take longer: check the line's status before you go.
Which transport is included?
The metro (lines 1 to 14, 3bis and 7bis), the 5 RER lines (every branch), Transilien trains (lines H, J, K, L, N, P, R, U, V), trams (T1 to T14), CDGVAL, Orlyval, the C1 cable car and the Montmartre funicular, plus walking connections between nearby stations. Buses aren't part of the calculation: their next departures are in “📍 Near me” (home page).
